The official website for the One Piece franchise revealed on Monday that the franchise is getting its first official theme park in the famed Tokyo Tower in spring 2015.
The theme park will feature live events, attractions, a restaurant, and an original merchandise shop. Shueisha's Weekly Shonen Jump magazine will reveal more details about the theme park in the future.
While the new park will be the first official theme park for the franchise, other theme parks are currently hosting One Piece-themed attractions. This year marks the fifth anniversary that Universal Studios Japan in Osaka has been hosting the "One Piece Premier Show" and attractions. The most recent attraction, "One Piece Summer Adventure," opened on July 4.
Universal Studios Japan will host the One Piece Premier Show live stage event until September 30. Additional attractions include a One Piece water gun battle held four times a day, two One Piece-themed restaurants, merchandise shops with Straw Hat crew and Trafalgar Law-themed goods, and a One Piece-themed face painting area.
Namco Bandai Group also opened the J-World Tokyo indoor theme park last summer devoted to Shueisha's Weekly Shonen Jump magazine. That theme park also features One Piece attractions and food.
