Last December 11, Gil along with Direk Joyce and Jennylyn, met up with ABS CBN actor Piolo Pascual.
Gil Cuerva posted his photo with Piolo Pascual on Instagran and wrote, "Had a great time talking with Direk Joyce, PJ, Jen and everyone else last night."
Gil Cuerva was officially announced as Jennylyn Mercado's leading man in GMA 7's remake of Koreanovela hit My Love from the Star.
Based on Gil's post, it looks like he learned a lot from the award winning Kapamilya star.
