Last March 31, 2017 episode of It's Showtime , Vhong Navarro one of the main host of the show surprised viewers when he sang the portion of Eat Bulaga's theme song on It's Showtime.
This happened during the Tawag ng Tanghalan segment while Vhong and Angel [Locsin] interviewed Cheska Rojas one of the segment contestant.
Angel asked the young girl from Visayas, "Sino ba ang inspiration mo? Ano bang gusto mong maabot?
"Parang si Ate Kyla mo? Parang ganyan na may album?"
Cheska replied that she wants to perform in Broadway, the theater capital of the U>S.
Vhong quipped, "Broadway malapit lang yan!"
Angel clarified, "Iba yun!"
Vhong joked again, "Akala ko lilipat sa Broadway"
Then Angel [Locsin] mentioned Lea Salonga who is dubbed as the Broadway Diva.
Eat Bulaga, the country's longest running noontime show is aired in Broadway Centrum in Quzeon City.
Angel asked Cheska to sing a Broadway song with Anne Curtis.
Vhong suddenly stood up and volunteered then sing "Mula Aparri hanggang Jolo."
Anne warned Vhong, "Ibang Broadway yun! Ipapatawag ka sa taas mamaya."
