MAX Collins is happy over the high ratings that her launching show, “Inamorata,” is getting as one of GMA7’s top afternoon soaps. “When the show started in January, sobrang kaba ko kasi first time ko to do a lead role,” she says.
“I just lifted it all up to God and He answered my prayer kasi nagustuhan ng mga tao ang show and now we’re extended up to June. As of now, kinulong ako ni Gwen Zamora as the witch Alejandra so loob ng isang portrait at dito ko malalaman kung sino ang tunay na nagmamahal sa akin at magpapalaya sa akin mula sa litrato, si Luis Alandy ba as Edwin or si Dion Ignacio as Dencio. As of now, hindi ko pa alam kung kanino ako mapupunta between the two of them.”
Off cam, it’s Dion who openly says she’s his crush even before they were paired in “Innamorata.” What can she say about this? “He told me about that but akala ko, binobola lang niya ako. As an actor, bilib ako kay Dion kasi he’s very sensitive. Ang bilis niyang umiyak, e. About his crush for me, wala naman siyang ginagawa about it.”
Maybe because it’s been reported that she’s now on with Pancho Magno? “No, we’re not on. We’re just dating. Lately nga, bihira kami magkita kasi busy ako taping ‘Inamorata’ and siya naman, with ‘Kambal Sirena.’ But lagi niya akong tine-text, kinukumusta. Sweet siya.”
After “Innamorata” ends in June, Max will be doing a movie in Qatar, a co-production between a Filipino company and a Qatar company. “Si Tito Leo Martinez called for a casting call and I auditioned. I read the script, ang ganda. The title is ‘Remembering Ada’. I thought hindi ako nakuha, but after a month, they called me at ako raw ang choice nila.
I think I’ll be appearing with Alden Richards and LJ Reyes. Big blessing nga kasi hindi pa natatapos ang ‘Innamorata,’ may bagong project na waiting for me.”
