We've been contacted by our source once again, who sent us a table detailing the upcoming Samsung phones and tablets. This time it includes a new device the N910 T (Muscat), better known as the Samsung Galaxy Note 4.
The expected model number for the next Note is N910x, with the last digit separating sub-versions of the device. Typically 0 is for an Exynos device, 5 for a Snapdragon-powered one, 6 for LTE and 2 for dual-SIM. We've listed the Note 4 and other members of the premium Galaxy family in the table below.
Anyway, this information confirms the Galaxy Note 4 will have a screen with QHD resolution (1,440 x 2,560), but surprisingly the screen diagonal is 5.7", same as it on the current Galaxy Note 3.
So far Notes have grown by 0.2" each generation, starting with the original Galaxy Note at 5.3", then the sequel at 5.5" and the current model at 5.7". By that reasoning we expected the Galaxy Note 4 to have a 5.9" screen.
We've seen patent drawings for a device with a three-sided YOUM display, so the screen might be larger than the conventional measurement of screen diagonal suggests.
The Samsung Galaxy Note 4 is rumored to be water-resistant, powered by either an Exynos Hexa or a Snapdragon 801 chipset and pack a 20.1 MP camera.
