TV host Billy Crawford detained following row at police precinct in BGC

UPDATED: TV Host-Actor Billy Crawford was brought to the Taguig Prosecutor's Office on Monday morning and charged with malicious mischief and disobedience to a person in authority, a day after he was arrested for an incident at a police precinct.Television host and singer Billy Crawford was arrested and detained following a row at a police precinct at the Bonifacio Global City early Sunday.

Sunday's incident occurred shortly after 4 a.m. at Police Community Precinct 7, according to a report on GMA News TV's "News TV Live."

An initial investigation showed Crawford was with a woman and asked for assistance.

But when told he would be brought to police headquarters, he allegedly punched the desk officer for no apparent reason.

He also punched and damaged the glass door of the precinct, prompting police to arrest him.

Crawford was brought briefly to a nearby hospital for an examination.

Police said he may face charges of malicious mischief.
