The Court of Appeal has given the go signal for the Department of Justice (DOJ) to file a "Libel" charge against ABS CBN Corporation for it's "stolen video" accusation against rival GMA Network.
Last 2004, ABS CBN reporters and personalities accused GMA Network for stealing their exclusive video for the homecoming of a Pinoy hostaged Angelo Dela Cruz from Iraq.
According to GMA Network they are subscribed to Reuters and the footage they aired on Flash Report was actually a footage taken from Reuters.
The Kapamilya Network filed a case for copyright infringement against the Kapuso Netwrok but it was dismissed by the Court of Appeals.

vice-president for news operations Jake Maderazo, former ABS-CBN
vice-president for news operations Luchi Cruz-Valdes, assistant vice
president for news operations Jose “Jing” Magsaysay Jr., news operations
director Alfonso “Pal” Marquez, supervising producer Maria Progena
Estonilo Reyes, reporter and anchor Lynda Jumilla, executive producer of
the now-defunct program Insider Lilibeth Frondoso, executive producer of Magandang Umaga Bayan Annie Eugenio, executive producer of News Patrol Dondi Garcia, Luis Alejandro, and former ABS-CBN news anchor Erwin Tulfo.

In a decision issued on November 2010, the
CA ruled that the airing of the said video was “done in good faith and
thus could not be regarded as an infringement of copyrights.”
