Bringing joy and entertainment since their beginnings in the Middle Ages, amusement and theme parks make you think of cotton candy, carnival games and thrill rides. There are more than 1300 worldwide. Sometimes however, theme parks can lose their funding, people just stop coming or other unforeseen circumstances occur. When this happens they are rarely torn down; they are left to rot. Then they become an entirely new attraction.
