When Woody's owner died, the family sold the house and left Woody behind.
For a year, he waited under a nearby shed hoping his owner would return. Neighbors left Woody foods and water while searching for someone to save him.
After helping rescue Woody Lisa Chiarelli volunteered to foster him.
