Estudyante iniimbestigahan ng mga otoridad matapos mag "Like" ng status sa Facebook

Kung bigla mong ma click ang Like button sa facebook, ano ang gagawin mo? 

Sa Malaysia isang teenager ang iniimbestigahan ng pulisya matapos niyang aksidenteng ma Like ang status sa facebook na ang nakalagay ay "I love Israel". Matapos aksidenteng ma click ang Like, kumalat ang screen captured ng post na na like ng estudyante na nakatanggap ng ibat ibang comment mula sa kanyang guro, "My student likes Israel? How shameful for me."

"Stupid teen! Why love the country that killing children & women?!!” One user on The Malay Mail's Facebook page commented.

Sa facebook page naman ng Malaysian Insider nagmula ang comment na "What about all the people who visit Israel? Are they under investigation too?"

 Kung mapapatunayan sa imbestigasyon maaaring kasuhan ang 17-year-old na estudyante ng "sedition".  Sa batas ng Malaysia ang sedition is an acts that raise discontent or disaffection among people in the country and promote feelings of ill will and hostility between different races or classes of the population." Ang mapapatunayan na lumabag sa batas ay maaaring makulong ng hanggang 3 taon.

Ayon naman kay Osman Hussain, Penang’s state director of education, susubukan nyang maresolba ang kaso ng hindi umaabot sa mga pulis.  "He is just a student. I will try to solve the issue peacefully." aniya.

Ayon naman sa Communication Minister na si Ahmad Shabery Cheek, tinitingnan na ng mga otoridad na i blocked ang facebook sa bansa matapos ang nakaka insultong post sa Hari ng Malaysia na si Tuanku Abdul Halim. — with a report from Agence France-Presse and GMA News
