They encountered a surprising amount of sea life, including the rarely filmed Pacific sleeper shark.
Scientist drop an underwater camera to see what is happening inside the Kavachi Volcano in Solomon Islands. The camera captured several underwater creature including this Pacific sleeper shark. This shark is a rare kind. In fact there are only three photo of the Pacific sleeper shark has been taken.
“You never know what you’re going to find. Especially when you are working deep underwater. The deeper you go, the stranger it gets.” said the ocean engineer, Brennan Philips
