Serving as role models, inspirational figures or simply beloved for the characters they portray, losing a Hollywood star is a tragedy. While they live on in their films and television shows, some actors are taken far too soon by circumstances beyond anyone’s control. Accidents on set, natural causes or mishaps in life can have terrible results. When the untimely death of a Hollywood actor or actress occurs before a film is complete, sometimes drastic measures need to be taken to carry on. While some may never see the light of day, others refuse to let their stars fade and find a way around it. Scripts re-written, body doubles employed and even special effects can help give that star one last performance.
