Dingdong Dantes and Marian Rivera may be Philippine showbiz’s most
in-demand stars. The power couple is everywhere, and it is hard to
imagine how they manage to find time to fit in continuous film and TV shootings, multiple product endorsements and even charity works in their jam-packed schedules.
In an interview with Philippine Entertainment Portal days before Holy Week, Marian revealed it was Dingdong who convinced her to take a vacation away from Manila. She said ‘Siguro naawa siya sa akin na, “Hay naku, kailangan mong mag-rest, dire-diretso ang trabaho mo. Pagod ka.”
‘Ako naman, “Hay, sige…”’ And just like that, they decided to go to Japan. She added that her boyfriend was fond of planning things ‘on the spot.’
Their trip to Japan is the first in a long while the couple will be spending lots of free time together, something they truly deserve. Marian confessed they had very few chances to meet lately because Dingdong had been busy with the teleserye ‘Ang Dalawang Mrs. Real’ and the film ‘Kubot: The Aswang Chronicle.’ Marian is also focusing much of her energy on her hit teleserye ‘Carmela.’ However, when a window of opportunity opens, the couple will do what it takes to be with the other:

Despite already being in a relationship for almost five years, it’s inspiring to see that they are still very much in love. This is especially fantastic if we consider how much time they already pour into their professional lives. This makes them true role models for how relationships should be.
